Nourish your body and senses
with Natural Honey

"Honey helps to rejuvenate the skin
leading to the reduction of fine wrinkles..."

Honey bees on a honey comb

To say the bumblebee is a humble creature would be somewhat of an understatement. Usually associated with hazy summer days, hay fever and the pain of being stung we often regard bees as a nuisance, remaining blissfully unaware that bees' own sweet nectar provides many sources of enjoyment for us all year long and has in fact done so for centuries. We consume honey as an everyday commodity to sweeten food and drinks and we do so without so much as a second thought as to the vast and varied benefits of this exceptional substance.

Natural Healing

Honey contains excellent antibacterial anti fungal properties, which have been shown to be superior to certain conventional antibiotics in treating minor infections and over the centuries has been used widely as a natural remedy to treat such complaints.

Honey can also be used in the treatment of burns, insect bites and ulcers as its thick consistency enables it to absorb water from inflamed tissue.

Sweet Sleep

Honey is also a great tonic for insomnia. Mixed with water honey becomes a stabilizer, soothing stress in the nervous system and aiding a calm and restful night's sleep.

Nourished skin

Perhaps the most surprising revelations from the belly of the bee are honey's regenerating and nourishing properties. Honey is one of natures finest moisturisers and when slathered on the face as a face pack it helps to rejuvenate the skin and speed the elimination of fine lines and wrinkles. But honey's beneficial effects on the skin don't stop there. When taken orally honey acts as a stimulant to the digestive tract, easing constipation, which is a common cause of minor outbreaks of acne and other skin problems.
